The Enrolment process
We would love for you to visit our nurseries before making your decision, so please contact us to arrange a convenient date and time.
Our nursery places fill up quickly, and we often have fairly long waiting lists, so we recommend getting in touch as soon as possible.
If you decide you would like a space, we will usually add you to our waiting list, or if a place is available sooner, we can confirm your start date with you.

Parent Partnership
We believe working in partnership with parents is essential in supporting children’s development and building positive relationships.
Sharing home learning ideas creates opportunities for children to learn and develop at home, as well as at nursery.
We use our online app to communicate and share your child’s progress throughout their day. We also share helpful links, local community information and nursery events.
Early Education Funding
What Funding is available?
- Children aged 9 months: Available the term after your child turns 9 months old – up to 30 hours for eligible working families.
- Children aged 2 years: Up to 15 hours Support Funding (FEEE2)
- Children aged 3-4 years: Available the term after your child turns 3 years old – up to 15 hours Universal education + additional 15 hours for working parents (total 30 hours).

Settling In Sessions
Tax Free Childcare

It’s important to consider that each child will have slightly different needs when it comes to
settling in. Some children will settle quickly and be very confident from their first day, while
other children may take a little longer. We will work with you depending on what is best for
your child.
Around a month before starting, we will contact you to book a settling session that runs
from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, usually in the week or two before your child's start date.
During the settling session, you come along with your child and you will have the opportunity to meet with your child's key person, familiarise
yourself with the environment, and go through their routine, likes, dislikes, and anything
else we need to know about them.
Save money on your childcare costs!
If you're a working parent with children under 12 you can open an online account to pay for registered childcare.
The government will top-up the money you pay into the account. For every £8 you pay in, the government will add an extra £2. You can receive up to £2,000 per child per year - that's up to £500 every three months!

Before starting, you will be sent an invitation link to create your Family account. You will be able to add any
details, photos, family members, and complete parental permissions.
Once you start with us:
- You will receive updates about your child’s day, view observations, photos, and learning experiences
- Communicate directly with nursery staff
- Receive important nursery announcements and reminders
- View invoices and nursery documents where applicable
- Share information about your child with staff
FAQs
How to prepare for starting Nursery?
To help you and your child feel prepared:
- Read books together about starting nursery
- Talk positively about nursery
- Visit the nursery together if possible
- Begin practising short separations if appropriate
- Attend Settling in sessions and meet your key person
We always welcome you to speak to a member of the team for any questions or support.
What should we bring to nursery?
Please bring:
- A small bag with labelled spare clothing
- Comfort item (if your child uses one)
- Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing (waterproofs, wellies)
- Breast Milk or Formula (if required)
- Sun Hat or warm hat
Comfortable clothing suitable for play, messy activities, and outdoor learning is
recommended.
What are your safeguarding procedures?
Children’s safety and wellbeing are our highest priorities. The nursery follows safeguarding procedures,
secure arrival and collection processes, risk assessments, and staff training requirements to ensure a
safe environment for all children
Our policies and procedures are available to parents at any time, please ask the nursery manager.
Do you have a qualified Special Education Needs Coordinator?
Yes, all three sites have a qualified SENCO.
Our SENCOs are available to discuss any concerns you may have, provide additional support, and signpost you to other professionals if needed.
